LCBC exists to provide rowing training and competition facilities for the students of Lincoln
College, a constituent college of the University of Oxford. Through a combination of Lincoln's
steely determination to improve, coupled with the efforts of recent Boat Club Committees has
culminated in huge, recent successes for the club, most recently three sets of blades at Torpids
2012, including blades for both first boats. We have also made our presence felt outside of
Oxford, with crews racing at Fairbairns, Quintin Head and Women's Head Of The River in the
2011/2012 season alone.
The club also operates an excellent annual training camp abroad, this year to the Danube River
in Budapest. The week long trip gives rowers a great chance to compress a term's worth of rowing
into an intensive, but hugely fun, trip abroad.
LCBC also has a truly fantastic social side. Whether it's formal dinners and, wine and cheese
evenings, or post-outing
drinks at 'Spoons, crew dates
and general banter, there is
something for everyone socially
at LCBC. Numerous social
functions occur each term and
much fun is had by all. For
more information about LCBC's
social side, please contact the
Social Secretaries via the
'Committee' section on this site.
Whether you're a current rower,
alumnus, or prospective student,
you should find everything
about rowing at Lincoln on this site. If you have any further queries, please do not hesistate to
get in touch with any of the Committee members on the relevant section of this site.
