This Society exists to support and encourage College rowing. It holds an annual dinner and hosts drinks in college immediately after Summer VIIIs Rowing On.

The LCBC Society is historically joined by many of Lincoln's rowers, in order to help support the club, as well as to keep in touch with Lincoln rowing and their fellow alumni once they have graduated.

LCBCS has two main roles:

- To be a major financial supporter of Lincoln's fleet and the club in general, helping the college obtain the financial security required by a successful Boat Club. Recently they contributed very significantly to the acquisition of the M1 Empacher in 2006 & W1 Salani in 2011.

- To put on events in College throughout the year, in particular Torpids and Eights dinners, to which all current rowers and Society members are invited. The Society also hosts an annual Recruitment Drinks after Summer VIIIs Rowing On, as the club comes together to await the results of the afternoon's races.

If you'd like to join LCBCS or for any further queries about the Society, please don't hesitate to get in touch with either the Development Office (development.office@lincoln.ox.ac.uk) or the current Boat Club President.
